Congrats Torri & Rob - our anniversary twins

Busy weekend! Not only was it our anniversary - 11 years and counting - but we had two great weddings to shoot! On Saturday (6/21), Rob & Torri married at the bussling Gideon Putnam Resort in Saratoga, among all the Dave Matthews Band concert-goers. I'm so glad they decided to have a first glance meeting, because the weather was beautiful (for a change) and we had plenty of time to get some nice shots of the family, bridal party and the two of them interacting. They are so cute together! And they seemed so much more relaxed and were able to truly enjoy their day. Here are a few favs...

Congrats Lauren & Courtney

Lauren & Courtney tied the knot this past Sunday at the beautiful Saratoga National Golf Club. The new room is finished, and it looks sharp! Bobbie Jean Palumbo from Home Bloom Florist went all out with the flowers - the colors were so vibrant, it almost made you forget it was raining outside! Awesome job! T.S Ensemble worked their magic among the crowd - those guys are amazing! Here's a few quick favs from that one...

Congrats Shannon & Jim!

Yay - we're so glad Shannon and Jim decided to have a first glance meeting prior to their ceremony last weekend (6/14)! We got some great shots before the skies opened back up and the day took on its own momentum, as it tends to do. Between the rain and the humidity, it was challanging - I know I looked like I had been dragged through a puddle! But Shannon and Jim looked fantastic from start to finish and THAT'S what counts! We want to thank everyone for being so cooperative - it's tough when it's that hot and sticky!

I love the genuine glances between the these two - sounds corny, but it warms my heart. From the ceremony at beautiful St. John's the Evanglist Church in Schenectady, to their uber-fun reception at River Stone Manor in Scotia, Shannon and Jim appeared to truly enjoy every moment. Dave Cannon from Elite Sounds Entertainment rocked the house and kept the dance floor packed all night, which made our job easy for the videography.

We were happy to see Shannon's sister, Shelby and her hubby, Anthony. Seems like just yesterday we shot their River Stone wedding, and now baby makes three! Thanks, Shannon and Jim, for making us a part of your special day. We cannot wait to work on the video. And we're glad everyone enjoyed the guest book, too!

Joleine & Andrew - Engagement

Picking favorites from this session was tough! These two are a perfect fit - so natural together - I just love their expressions and interaction with one another. We had a blast working with Joleine & Andrew at Yaddo Gardens last Friday. Among the prom-goers and other wedding parties, we still managed to find a few great 'secret' nooks, and by the time we made it to the roses the light was SWEET. Like I said, picking favorites was hard!

Congrats Dana & Nick!

Shame on me - I'm falling behind... Here is the second wedding from last week - well worth the wait. Dana & Nick married at St. Patrick's in Troy, followed by a kick-butt reception at the Franklin Plaza with musical host Adam Conway from Piano Man DJs. Dana looked friggin' awesome! And Nick was one cool groom, despite the ridiculous heat (thankfully the church had A/C!). The party was crazy fun - from the slick first dance to the rambunctious bridal party to the amusing 'Humpty Dance' - very entertaining! And we're glad to see the guestbook with Dana & Nick's engagement photos was a big hit, too!

Congrats Melanie & Paul!

Love, love, LOVE first glance meetings! Paul & Melanie decided to meet up before their ceremony and share a special moment before heading out to have some fun with their bridal party on the Empire State Plaza in downtown Albany. Luck of the Irish kept the rain away long enough to make that happen. Paul's family came all the way from Ireland to witness him and Melanie celebrate their nuptials at St. James Church in Delmar, followed by a great party at the Holiday Inn Turf. What a fun bunch! And Melanie withstood the heat beautifully - you would never know it was approaching 90 degrees!

Congrats Christina & Thomas

Ah, so here it is - the final video of '07 - Thomas & Christina's beautiful Hall of Springs wedding in snowy December, with a nice holiday theme - somewhat refreshing with all this heat we've been having! Christina had one of the most elegant dresses - so gorgeous! She and Thomas both looked stunning as they celebrated their nuptials in style.

Reilly turns two!

A little sun, a little bit of rain, and a crazy beautiful sunset - kind of a metaphor for a life... and Kristi & Ryan's wedding day, too.
